Department of Educational Psychology and Psychology of Health
The team of KPPaPZ has been operating since 2007 as a part of the Faculty of Arts of PJSU, although before that it provided education and created research under the management of the Faculty of Science of PJSU. Since 2010, the department has also included a non-profit organization – Institute of Psychological Prevention, n.o.
The main mission of the Department of Educational Psychology and Psychology of Health in the field of education is:
- to guarantee and provide psychological education to students of Bachelor degree inter-branch study programs of psychology in combination, Magister degree programmes for teaching of psychology in combination
- to provide pedagogical and psychological education to the students at the Faculty of Science and at the Faculty of Arts at PJSU
- to provide an extension study of school psychology to graduates of the master’s degree in teaching of psychology in combination
- to provide accredited continuous education of pedagogical and professional staff of primary schools
In the field of science and research, KPPaPZ focuses on:
- investigation of risk behavior of youth and its prevention
