Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice is interested in being an internationally recognized institution. We closely follow trends and career guidance at universities abroad. Our goal is to create a platform for students of and graduates from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice where they could find information and especially good opportunities for their career development. We would also like to make it easier for employers to access students of and graduates from a high-quality university. To this end, we would like to introduce to you this Career Club.
The aim of establishing this unique club is to foster long-term cooperation between the university and employers to improve students’ readiness for the labor market while also creating opportunities for them to realize their potential within it. The ideal outcome of this collaboration is a high-quality student and graduate matched with a suitable and skill-appropriate position.
From the academic year 2024/2025, the Career Club will strengthen cooperation between the university (represented by the University Counselling Centre UNIPOC), employers, and students of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University (UPJŠ).
Membership benefits in the Career Club include:
- Priority access to job postings through the Academic Information System (AiS2).
- Exclusive 10% discount on registration fees for our events, such as career fairs (Internship Day, Career Day).
- Advertising opportunities – promotional options on university platforms, including featuring club members on the Career Club website, UNIPOC social media channels, posting flyers on university premises, promoting members in the university magazine, or reserving UNIPOC spaces for pre-approved webinars, events, interviews, etc.
- Updates about university news and graduates, including receiving the university magazine Universitas Šafarikiana and the Career Club UPJŠ informational booklet.
- The opportunity to inform students once per year about your offerings via a mass email sent to all UPJŠ students.
Membership in the Career Club UPJŠ is free of charge for the academic year 2024/2025.

Mediation of job opportunities for students of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (UPJŠ) is a function of the Academic Information System AiS2, developed at UPJŠ in Košice. We will (if you specify) filter job offers according to the faculty and study programs of our students. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a job offer, we are also happy to mediate offers of internships, volunteer activities or other opportunities for our students. Since our goal is to provide students with quality job opportunities corresponding to their field of study, we will filter submitted job offers and reserve the right to reject job offers that do not meet these conditions.
