The Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice organised the 5th international „School of XFEL and Synchrotron Radiation Users – SFEL 2018“ in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, with the European XFEL, GmbH in Hamburg, and with the National Centre for the Popularisation of Science and Technology in Society at CVTI. The Slovak and international scientists, students, PhD students, and young researchers will have the possibility to attend the lectures of the world’s leading experts on the use of X-ray lasers (XFEL) in Hamburg and on the sources of synchrotron and neutron radiation from the perspective of various fields such as structural biology, physics, chemistry, material research and IT.
The 5th international „School of XFEL and Synchrotron Radiation Users – SFEL2018“ has been held from 27th to 31st May 2018 in Liptovský Ján in the Slovakia.
