The Faculty of Law of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice in cooperation with the City of Košice is re-opening the Student Legal Advice Centre for the residents of Košice. Through the Student Law Clinic, the citizens of Košice will have the opportunity to obtain a free legal analysis of their legal problem, which will be prepared for them by students of law under the supervision of experienced attorneys. The legal analysis for the client includes a legal analysis of his/her case and specific options for its solution. The activities of the Student Legal Clinic are carried out in the following legal areas: civil law, family law, commercial law, labour law, social security law, administrative law and tax law. The activities of the Student Legal Advice Centre do not include the preparation of legal analysis in the field of criminal law.
How does the Student Legal Clinic work?

Appointments can be made from 28 January to 20 April 2025 or till capacity is full.
* The meeting will take place on the agreed date at the premises of the Faculty of Law of UPJŠ in Košice (Kováčska 30, 040 75 Košice).
Clients of the Student Legal Advice Centre:
The clients of the Student Legal Advice Centre are residents of Košice who are in a situation where they need help to solve their legal problem. The client is aware that the legal analysis of his/her legal problem will be prepared by students of law. The client must provide complete and truthful information about his or her legal problem or situation and clearly articulate the issues or problems to be the subject of the legal analysis.
