On 14 March 2023 at the premises of UPJŠ in Košice a delegation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter “Ministry of Education”) led by the Director of the Department of Strategies and Concepts of Science, Research and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Martin Kanovský, who was accompanied by other members of the delegation, Ľuboš Kovács, Head of the Department of Performance Contracts of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, Daša Bombjaková, Head of the Department of Methodology and Evaluation of Creative Activities of the Ministry of Education , and Stanislav Lukáč, Department of Performance Contracts of Higher Education Institutions.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the principles and intentions of performance contracts (hereinafter “the PCs”) from the Ministry of Education. After more than three hours of discussion, both parties positively evaluated the constructive dialogue on this important topic. Members of the UPJŠ academic community can learn more about the PCs principles, the PCs timeframe negotiations, and the measurable indicators in the PCs thematic areas through the following two presentations.
