Pursuant to Section 78 of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and the Amendments and Supplementation to Certain Acts, as amended, based on the motion of the Dean of the UPJŠ Faculty of Arts, prof. Renáta Panocová, and after approval by the UPJŠ Scientific Board, on 24 May 2024 Rector of UPJŠ, prof. Daniel Pella, awarded the honorary title of “Professor Emeritus” to:

At the first meeting of the UPJŠ Scientific Board in the academic year 2024/2025, which was held on 18 October 2024, the Rector of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Daniel Pella, officially handed over the “professor emeritus” appointment decree to prof. Eva Žiaková for her significant contribution in the field of science and education. Rector Pella thanked professor Žiaková for her contribution to the university and wished her good health and further success in her professional and personal life.
