On 19 January 2023, a working meeting of the EDIH Casssovium project was held at UVP Technicom to prepare the implementation plan for each work package of the project.
The aim of the EDIH Cassovium project is to build a European Digital Innovation Centre operating in the Eastern Slovakia region, which will provide expert services to commercial companies and public administration institutions in the context of digital transformation. The EDIH CASSOVIUM consortium consists of partner organizations: Technical University (project coordinator), UPJŠ and Košice IT Valley cluster.
The ambition of UPJŠ is to provide mainly services in the field of:
- data science
- cyber security
- digitalisation of public administration
- e-commerce and intellectual property protection
- project support.
Another challenge for EDIH Cassovium is the integration within the pan-European network.
The project is financed by the Digital Europe program and the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
