Ambassador of the United Kingdom visited UPJŠ in Košice

    On June 18, 2021, the Rector of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, prof. RNDr. Pavol Sovák, CSc., welcomed the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Nigel Baker. The meeting was also attended by representatives of other universities in Košice, Rector Dr. h. c. prof. MVDr. Jana Mojžišová, PhD., For the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice together with the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Internationalization, prof.     The jointly planned meeting of the three universities of Košice with Ambassador Nigel Baker reflects the quality cooperation between the universities, which was recently transformed into the CNIC project or the joint study program Pharmacy. The main topics of the meeting were the presentation of the main research activities of the universities of Košice, international research cooperation and the study of international students, of course in relation to the United Kingdom and the situation after Brexit. Ambassador Baker also followed up on the Race to Zero event, which aims to promote a healthy and resilient renewal of the environment with zero carbon emissions.
