On Monday, 29 April 2024, students from all faculties of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University said goodbye to the summer semester on the campus of the Faculty of Arts on Moyzesova Street. The farewell was opened by Rector, professor Daniel Pella, PhD., together with Vice-Rectors, professor Slávka Tomaščíková, PhD., professor Renata Oriňaková, DrSc., and Dr. Ľudmila Elbert, PhD.
This event was one of the most successful. Students from the UPJŠ student organizations prepared a rich programme for their classmates, which included popular activities such as a quiz, various competitions and a raffle. Farewell to the semester was in the spirit of a western rodeo with mechanical bull with which many students competed. The programme of the farewell to the semester was accompanied by the Student Radio Košice which complemented the whole event with pleasant music. There was also delicious goulash and free drinks for students.
