At the meeting of the UPJŠ Extended Rector’s Council on Wednesday, 24 April 2024, Rector Daniel Pella presented an Ombudsman of our University, prof. h. c. doc. JUDr. Mária Bujňáková, CSc.
The lawyer with many years of experience became the public defender of rights of UPJŠ students and employees on 1 April 2024 based on the results of the selection procedure held on 6 March 2024. The performance of her activities is based on the Rector’s Decision No. 9/2023 on the submission and handling of queries, complaints and petitions at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and its parts.
