Rector awarded the UPJŠ Commemorative Medal to the Karazin University in Kharkov

The Rector of the University awarded the UPJŠ Commemorative Medal to the Kharkov University on the occasion of its 215th anniversary. Representatives of UPJŠ prof. RNDr. Gabriel Semanišin, PhD., Vice-Rector for Informatics and Quality Management and Dr.h.c. prof. RNDr. Alexander Feher, DrSc. from the Institute of Physical Sciences of the Faculty of Science presented the medal to the Rector of the University of Karazin during the ceremonial joint meeting of the Board of Trustees and the Scientific Council of the University.

Karazin University is one of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe and the oldest in Ukraine. The University boasts 3 Nobel Prize winners. Karazin University has been cooperating with UPJŠ for a long time, especially in the field of physics, and cooperation is also underway in the area of public administration and informatics.
