In RankPro, universities are ranked based on their performance in three areas:
- academic ranking focused on the academic possibilities of a university
- ranking by BC-index focused on the communicability and information availability on a university homepage
- public ranking focused on national and international reputation of a university
A special feature of the ranking is the subjective assessment by the International Committee of Scientists, which is compiled by the ranking agency. The Academic Ranking indicator takes into account information on the number of male and female students, their proportions at each level of study, the number of male and female staff, the proportion of international students, etc. The BC-Index takes into account the availability of information on the English version of the University’s website on various topics (e.g. campus information, general information, etc.). The results for the Public Ranking indicator are based on the University’s reputation within the country and worldwide, based on a survey conducted by the International Committee of Scientists.
